Broken Tablet + Life Update!

Hey all! Sorry I've been so inactive on here! 
Just wanted to check in and give you guys some updates. 
I have just recently moved to a different state, so that kept me pretty busy and unable to check dA for a while (my messages piled up to over 4,000! Yikes!! Oh well, it'll be fun to go through all that art at once c: ).

And unfortunately, during the move, my tablet got broken :'c 
I'm really sad about it because the tablet really wasn't that old, and I should have known better and been more careful with it, but I have to say that I am the most sad because now I can't keep up with my WIPs and make digital art :'c <\3

I am currently saving up for a new tablet, but now that I have moved out, I have rent and bills and other fun adult things to worry about, so I'm hoping the saving up process won't be too long and I'll be able to get back to drawing and posting my art and being active on here as an artist again really soon ccc:

Thanks everyone for your patience!!! I can't wait to be active on here again!

THIS PERSON HAS JUST TAKEN MY POINTS AND THEN DISAPPEARED, AND WON'T RESPOND TO ANY OF MY NOTES! PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR THEM AND BE CAUTIOUS IN GENERAL ON DEVIANTART! THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU, AND :devUnbeIievable: IS ONE OF THEM!

Here's the full story of what happened:

I recently posted a journal about how I wanted to trade my 1200:points: I had just bought for $10.00 since I wasn't going to use them. :devUnbeIievable: sent me a note asking for my Paypal, and when I gave it to them, they asked for me to send them my points "while they sent the money".

Looking back on it, I know I shouldn't have sent them until I had confirmation that the money had been sent, but I was too trusting. Please learn from my mistakes so you yourself don't have to make them.

Then, after the points were sent, I never got a Paypal notification or confirmation email, and :devUnbeIievable: stopped replying to my notes.

I have since then checked out their profile, and noticed several warning signs that I really should have checked before. Their account has only existed for 2 weeks, and from the first comment on their page, they like to troll. Also, the username :devUnbeIievable: is now also something that should have been a warning sign.

I already confronted them about it, and then gave them 24 hours to send the payment before I would take action, just to give them the benefit of the doubt, but now those 24 hours are over. Here is our full conversation:

This experience has actually taught me a lot, and I hope to help other people too so this doesn't happen again. Having this happen to me actually caused me to read the official Deviantart Terms and Conditions regarding points, and I reccomend that everyone read them if you haven't already!

I didn't know this before, but apparently it is against Deviantart terms and conditions to sell points for real money outside of the site! Additionally, point transfers cannot be refunded or reversed in any way, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, Deviantart will not do anything about disputes between users and will not do anything for you if you get ripped off. You're on your own basically.

The bottom line of this is DO NOT TRUST ANYONE online, especially if money is involved. This person even watched me after they sent the note, probably just so they would seem even more trustworthy. But looking at our conversation, you can tell that they were careful not to make any promises or give out any of their own information. So now, I havr no way to tie them to their crime or get my points back.

I'm sorry for the long journal entry, but this is a really crappy feeling you guys, and I don't want anyone else to go through this. Please spread this around if you can. Thank you.

Pony Times are Coming

This is just a announcement to anyone out there who still watches me:

Because of kianamai's amazing super-fantastical art, I have gotten back into My Little Pony.
I have been drawing A LOT. Like, a lot, a lot. Which is good because I really need to get back into drawing regularly if I ever want to improve, BUT all of these drawings are of ponies and their next gen children I created. So if there is anyone out there who watches me that doesn't like MLP, now would be the time to un-watch. No hard feelings.

The rest of you, be warned of the mass uploading!

But right now, these drawings only exist on paper in my sketchbook, so I still have to color them all digitally before I can upload them, and that'll take sometime. Especially since I just got Paint Tool SAI!!! EEEEEEEEE!!!! :shuffelin: :happy: :love: 
*ahem* Anyway, I'm still learning how to use SAI after a life time of GIMP, so please bear with me while I try to get the hang of it.

Otherwise, for the rest of you, all it means is that I'm finally going to start uploading and being active on here again! Yay!
OH and by the way, all of this won't be happening until I can think of a new username!!! TBH, I kinda want to change it back to kattwhizkers, but you can't change back to old ones unfortunately :saddummy: If any one has any suggestions, please feel free to comment bellow! Thanks! :meow:
